Dive

Dive is the solo project of the Belgian Dirk Ivens, singer of The Klinik, Absolute Body Control and Sonar, who has been an EBM-pioneer since the early 1980s. In Dive, he focuses on harsh, experimental industrial noise. Ivens has learned from Joy Division (whose song ‘Isolation’ he covered), Front242 and DAF that less is always more. On Summer Darkness he will present his new album, that reaches back to his work from the early 1990s. Ivens music has been copied a lot, but he still stands as a true original.
