BALFOLK DANCE INSTRUCTION WITH KELTEN ZONDER GRENZEN

For all the visitors of the highly succesful Balfolk Nights earlier this year, and for those who always wanted to know more about balfolk but were afraid to ask: this is your chance. Dutch balfolk trio Keltzen Zonder Grenzen will host a balfolk dance instruction at the Dom square. Free of entrance, here you can finally master those ancients old moves. Lift your skirt or tighten those leather pants of yours and join in with the joyful social activity that balfolk dancing is.

BALFOLK FANTASY MEETING 2011

This year, Summer Darkness will have a treat for all Balfolk-fans. The beautiful medieval Leeuwenbergh church (built in 1567!) in the old centre of Utrecht will host the special Balfolk Fantasy Meeting 2011. A unique international balfolk meeting in just the right enviroment, with dancing instructions and various balfolk dancing contests. You will dance among stone columns, in beautiful light shining through stained glass, to the music of three of the finest balfolk acts around.
