For Greater Good
For Greater Good is an ambient music project, trying to describe the world of today by means of ambient soundscapes mixed with everyday samples. Working together with various artists they create a visual and aural setting to submerge people in their post-industrial sonic paintings. Core-members are Izzy (synths and noise-machines) and samdevos (synths and vocals) and regularly features guest musicians. For the Summer Darkness festival they will perform with bass-clarinetist Peter Geysels (see also: God, Man & the Devil) and sound engineer Mark Burghgraeve (see also: Somnambulist).
Founded in 2004, the band self-released their debut album "For Greater Good" in july 2008. In december 2010 they brought out a collaborative album with Japanese Cult-writer Kenji Siratori, titled "ForGreaterGood+KenjiSiratori".Meanwhile, they featured on several compilations and they are currently working on a brand new album.
