Leaether Strip

Leæther Strip, or the Dane Claus Larsen, is a legend in electronic industrial. In the early nineties he made his name with cold, heavy music, that together with acts like Front Line Assembly, Klinik and Front 242, created the basic materials for the genre. Hundreds of bands nowadays list Leæther Strip as one of their influences on their Myspace pages. The last few years, Leæther Strip has been busy releasing reissues of his old albums on his new, Belgian label Alfa Matrix, for wich he has been re-recording some of his old work. Occasionally he plays live, but only under his own conditions. Summer Darkness will be honoured with his first and maybe last Dutch show ever.
