This year's BAL DU MASQUE in Tivoli is all about the Roots of Goth.

With the 10 year Anniversary of Summer Darkness in the back of our minds, Bal du Masque will take you back to our roots, back to the days of Romanticism and the birth of the Gothic Novel.

The Grim Reaper shall take you back to the DEAD….Death is tabooed nowadays. But isn't it wonderful, to fantasize about bringing things back to life? Think about all those witches burnt at the stake, about Mary Shelley and her Frankenstein story, about Vampires and the other undead, about the realm of the twilight zone and the creatures that lurk in the dark...

This year’s BAL DU MASQUE is all about the Grim Reaper's Dance!

Medusa shall treat you to music, fashion, flesh and blood, fire, witches and horror galore! All of course, in style, decadently elegant, radiant but dusty. And, not one, but probably two great opening shows….
