SOPHIA is the martial industrial project of Peter Bjärgö, also the man behind Arcana and a true legend among neoclassical, neofolk and gothic music fans. Exclusively for Summer Darkness, Bjärgö will play live twice, once with SOPHIA and once solo. SOPHIA is Bjärgö's side project for his most harsh and dark music. Gloomy martial industrial in the vein of Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio and Swans, with a strong romantic and bombastic side. In 2004, Bjärgö decided to end SOPHIA, but this year he has brought the band back to life. On Summer Darkness, SOPHIA will play live for the first time in 6 years – with some new songs!
