Phelios is the alias of the German musician Martin Stürtzer, who makes noisy dark ambient. First, he released his music himself, free on the internet, which led him to get signed by quality labels such as Eternal Soul and Loki Found. His music consists of long soundscapes, without rythm or melody, beautifully deep and layered sound fields that have a thrilling, very subtle dynamic. Especially in live shows, Phelios' music is a riveting experience that you have to feel yourself to know what it's like. All members of the audience of Phelios' previous show at the Noise Central Festival at Summer Darkness 2008 will surely agree!
