Rome

Rome, the Luxemburg folk project of Jerome Reuter, is back with the new album 'Nos Chants Perdus'. As always, their slow, creeping songs tell the ancient stories of the tragic, the hunted and the misunderstood. Reuter combines the great heritage of Jacques Brel, Léo Ferré, Albert Camus and Marcel Proust with a well-developped knowledge of the past and his own position in the present. More than ever on this new album his music has developped into the territory of accoustic singer/songwriter music, stripping all that is irrelevant away. What remains is haunting, minimal and timeles beauty.

Rome will play on Saturday.
