Clan of Xymox is our own Dutch dark wave legend, founded in 1984 under the name Xymox, by Ronny Moorings from Nijmegen. A friendship and a tour with Dead Can Dance led to them getting signed with the legendary British label 4AD. An intense career followed, in which they signed to major label Polygram, shifted more and more towards dance and house influences, and went through various line-up changes. On their latest record ‘In Love We Trust’, the band has happily returned to the heavier, unpolished style from their early years.
